About the Designer: Mr. Toshiyuki Kita is an active, internationally respected environmental, interior and product designer. His designs are permanent collections at the Musium of Modern Art in New York, Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris, Museum of Modern Art in Saint-Etienne, France. He has held exhibitions across the world, receiving many awards including the Product Design Award from the Institute of Business Designers and Contract Magazine in the U.S. and the gold prize of the Good Design Award.
