These rice bowls side by side are like “Yin Yang”. This philosophy describes how polar or seemingly contrary forces are interconnected and interdependent in the natural world, and how they give rise to each other in turn. Opposites thus only exist in relation to each other. This philosophy is beautifully reflected in the color and design of these bowls. Inside the white bowl, we see beautiful black strokes of a rose, while the black bowl is decorated with white strokes of the same lovely artwork.
